Company's Environmental Responsibilities
A Step in Repairing our World
CSR programs for the environment are important to minimize negative impacts such as air, soil and water pollution. This can be explained below:
Air Pollution: Some industrial processes can cause air pollution which is very harmful to public health, such as causing respiratory diseases. Air pollution is usually caused by vehicle pollution or factory pollution. A company should have a goal to produce a good product, so they can maintain production without harming the environment
Soil Pollution: Soil is polluted by toxic wastes generated from several industrial processes. As a result, the soil becomes infertile and will have a negative impact on agriculture. Every company must have a strategy that can prevent soil pollution. For example, companies can revise production and packaging strategy to reduce the amount of waste. They can also prepare special places for factory waste disposal, and carry out recycling to limit the use of raw materials so that they do not become solid waste.
Water Pollution: Water pollution is usually caused by dumping waste products and sewage into rivers, lakes or the sea. The waste will make the water toxic and kill the organisms in the water. There are two ways to overcome the pollution, namely non-technical and technical countermeasures. Non-technical countermeasures are efforts to reduce environmental pollution by creating laws that can plan, regulate, and supervise all kinds of industrial activities so that pollution does not occur. While technical countermeasures can be done by managing waste or adding tools that can reduce pollution.
In the company's CSR concept specifically for the environment, because we are a green energy developer company, we can assure everyone that the company will always preserve the environment around the project site by always keeping the project environment clean, not polluting the environment and rivers and will carry out forest reforestation by replanting trees.

Therefore, if necessary, the company will cooperate with several environmental organizations to participate in plant conservation and reforestation programs to maintain the sustainability of Indonesia's forests. In collaboration with the Forest Village Community Institution, developing the concept of sustainable forest management that involves all levels of society and takes advantage of the economic potential that exists in village communities. This concept is an entrepreneurial forest concept that focuses on the development of organic agriculture, the development of non-timber forest products with an agroforestry system, planting fruit trees or Multi Purpose Tree Species (MPTS) between other plants, making a biogas plant from cow dung and production of forest fruit chips. And the company will foster farmers to take part in maintaining and caring for forest sustainability.
